Chi meglio di una donna sa capire, intuire o anche solo prevedere i gusti di un’altra donna?
Se questo è vero in generale, nella gioielleria lo è ancor di più se si pensa che le creazioni rimangono per sempre, passando di mano in mano da una generazione all’altra, da donna a donna.
Lo sa bene Licia Mattioli, donna alla guida della società che dal 1860 produce gioielli a marchio Mattioli. Il brand, che è distribuito in tutti i continenti, arriva a Capri e lo fa passando dalla porta principale. A distribuire le produzioni Mattioli è infatti la boutique La Campanina, la cui filosofia dal 1950 è quella di regalare ad ogni donna un gioiello unico ma facile da indossare.
E anche quello dello storico negozio di via Vittorio Emanuele è un racconto che parla di donne perché oggi, alla sua guida c’è Roberta che rappresenta la terza generazione tutta al femminile dopo la nonna Lina, che insieme al marito Alberto fondarono la boutique e il brand, e la mamma Mariolì.
Ecco allora che la collezione “Puzzle” di Mattioli si allinea perfettamente alla filosofia de La Campanina perché è coloratissima, fresca, libe
ra e mutevole, e assume nuove identità cambiando i colori degli elementi di madreperla, coralli, turchesi e perle, ispirati alle sculture di Calder e ai quadri di Mondrian e Kandinskij, che vanno a comporre gioielli in grado di adattarsi ad ogni abbigliamento, incarnato o sfumatura dei capelli. Licia Mattioli is well aware of that, as a woman in charge of the company that has been producing jewellery under the Mattioli label since 1860. The brand, which sells its jewellery on all the continents, is now coming to Capri, walking in through the front door, in fact. Indeed, the shop which will be selling the Mattioli jewellery is the boutique La Campanina, whose philosophy since 1950 has been to give every woman a piece of jewellery that is unique yet easy to wear. And this historic shop in Via Vittorio Emanuele also has a story of women to tell, because it is now run by Roberta, who is the third generation of women to manage the business, following her grandmother Lina, who founded the boutique and brand with her husband Alberto, and then her mother Mariolì.
Mattioli’s “Puzzle” collection is perfectly in line with the philosophy of La Campanina because it is full of colour, fresh, free and changeable, taking on new identities by changing the colours of the elements of mother-of-pearl, coral, turquoise and pearls, inspired by the sculptures of Calder and the paintings of Mondrian and Kandinsky. The jewellery created from these elements can adapt to any outfit, complexion or hair colour. The choice of 23 different shades makes it possible to create new combinations every day, as well as for different times of day depending on the occasion, and – why not? – the wearer’s mood.
