Guarda dove metti i piedi

Guarda dove metti i piedi

| Watch where you put your feet As people walk around exploring the beauties of the island, they often look upwards, entranced by the deep blue of the sky or the flight of a seagull. But it’s well worth glancing downwards sometimes, too. You’ll find carpets of old ceramics, complex mosaics and tiles of all colours. Inside or outside, there are some real works of art. And when your feet chance upon on a beautiful floor, take a selfeet. Then if you want to show the world where you’ve set foot on Capri, the hashtag is #ihavethisthingwithfloors which currently numbers about 680.000 followers.

| This is only a detail. Look over the wall that you find before the porticoes leading into the centre, in Via Roma, and between you and the sea down below, you will see a splendid large ceramic panel depicting the island of Capri . It was created by Massimo Goderecci, a magnificent Capri ceramics master, who created it specially for the kitchen of the Pasticceria Buonocore, which opens onto this very terrace.
