La cura dei dettagli
Entrando da Massa, al civico 36 di via Vittorio Emanuele, una cosa salta subito agli occhi ed è la cura dei dettagli, quelli del design della boutique, ma soprattutto i particolari degli abiti esposti. Le camicie ad esempio, allineate sugli stand espositivi, offrono un colpo d’occhio in cui il colore la fa da padrone. Osservando attentamente si scopre che ogni singolo capo ha in sé un insieme di rifiniture che lo rendono unico. Le fantasie dei colletti e dei polsini, infatti, sono abbinate ad ogni nuance con una cura particolare. Un lavoro accurato, che richiede gusto, creatività e tanta fantasia. È Nunzia Massa, insieme alle figlie Roberta e Floriana, a studiare modelli e combinazioni di tendenza che poi i sarti artigiani confezionano con la dedizione e la maestria di un tempo.
Accanto alle creazioni sartoriali ci sono poi le grandi marche come Les Copains e Via delle Perle che hanno scelto le vetrine di questa storica boutique per mostrare le proprie creazioni. Perché Massa è sinonimo di tradizione e di buon gusto, da quando aprì i battenti alla fine dell’Ottocento. E ancora oggi Beppe accoglie nella boutique che porta il suo nome uomini e donne amanti del gusto e della ricercatezza, con lo stile di sempre.

When you go into Massa, at number 36 Via Vittorio Emanuele, one thing catches your attention immediately: the care over detail, both in the layout of the shop but also, and especially, in the details of the clothes on display. For example, the shirts, arranged on display stands, offer a striking show of colour. If you look closely, you’ll see that every individual garment has a set of finishing touches that make it unique. Every nuance in the patterning at the collars and cuffs is matched with the utmost care. It’s a painstaking task that requires taste, creativity and lots of imagination. Nunzia Massa, together with her daughters Roberta and Floriana, studies the patterns and combinations of trends which are then made up into garments by their skilled tailors, with dedication and old-style craftsmanship.
Alongside the tailored clothes, there is also clothing from big labels such as Les Copains and Via delle Perle, who have chosen the windows of this historic boutique to display their own creations. Because Massa has been synonymous with tradition and good taste since it first opened its doors at the end of the 19th century. And today, Beppe is still there in the shop that bears his name, ready to greet all those men and women who prize taste and elegance, in his usual inimitable style.
