Voglia di mare
Un incontro, tre amici e Capri. Sono questi gli ingredienti che hanno contribuito alla realizzazione di una nuova idea, tutta isolana, che vede insieme per la prima volta un’antica sartoria napoletana e un giovane marchio caprese.
Emanuele, da poco sull’isola con la sua boutique Buonanno, porta con sé tutto il saper fare di una famiglia che da generazioni interpreta il lusso e lo traduce in abbigliamento ed accessori dallo stile inconfondibile. Federico e Sergio, con Eco Capri, hanno raccolto l’eredità creativa di una delle più antiche famiglie isolane e hanno dato forma a qualcosa che in realtà forse è sempre esistito.
Tutti e tre insieme hanno dato vita ad un costume realizzato in quattro fantasie che riprendono i disegni di Laetitia ed Edwin Cerio, sempre attuali nel rappresentare Capri ancora oggi dopo settanta anni, e un tessuto iperlight che, oltre ad essere di qualità molto alta, si asciuga facilmente, soprattutto sotto i raggi del sole.
L’heritage creativo di EcoCapri, unito al know how produttivo di Buonanno ha creato una sinergia che va oltre il prodotto perché nata dall’amicizia di tre ragazzi e dall’amore per le cose belle realizzate con cura e passione. In più la moda caprese quest’anno si arricchirà di un nuovo costume che, oltre a fare tendenza, ricorderà nelle sue fantasie proprio l’isola azzurra. Ma perché proprio un indumento balneare? Perché costume vuol dire mare e mare vuol dire Capri.
A craving for the sea
A meeting, three friends and Capri. These are the ingredients that contributed to creating a new, entirely island-centred idea, which would bring together for the first time a historic Neapolitan couture company and a young Capri label.
Emanuele, who opened his Buonanno boutique on Capri not long ago, brings with him all the expertise of a family that has for generations been interpreting luxury and translating it into clothing and accessories with an unmistakeable style. Federico and Sergio have, with the Eco Capri label, taken up the creative legacy of one of the oldest families on Capri and have given shape to something that, in reality, perhaps always existed.
All three have together created a swim shorts made with four designs taken from the drawings of Laetitia and Edwin Cerio, which still seem very topical in capturing Capri today, after seventy years. To do so, they have used an ultra-light fabric which, in addition to being very high quality, dries very easily, especially in the sunshine.
The creative heritage of EcoCapri, combined with Buonanno’s manufacturing knowhow, has generated a synergy that goes beyond the product, because it sprang from the friendship between three young men and from their love of beautiful things, made with care and passion. And what’s more, Capri fashion gains a new swim shorts this year that, apart from setting a new trend, evokes the azure isle in its designs.
But why swimwear? Because a swim shorts means the sea, and the sea means Capri.
